Spiroxys chelodinae Berry, 1985

Remark: within the material studied, 2 genetic forms ("form 1" and "form 2") were observed. Differences were observed in .... sequences: ...% of bp. Both forms appeared to be morphologically identical, excepting slight differences in cuticle striation (see morphometry data below). No differences were observed in distribution and specificity of the two forms.

Hosts and localities

Originally described from Chelodina longicollis, C. expansa and C. oblonga from NSW, QLD, SA and WA; also from Papua New Guinea (Berry, 1985).
