    -January 3- The Sock and Buskin Society is formed.

    -The name 'Sock and Buskin Society' is changed to 'The Dakota Playmakers'.
   -December 20- The upgraded theatre in Woodworth hall is dedicated as "The Play-Stage". It will also be known as "The Little Stage" and "The Little Community Stage".
