Notable Happenings Within Our Department

2011      -Lon Hurst leaves the Department.  Lon had joined the Department in 2009.      -Ali Angelone joins the Department.      -The original Fire Alarm is replaced with a new system.  Rather than blaring alarm horns, the new system "talks" to patrons in the event of an emergency.	2012	2013   -August 1- Dr. Kathleen McLennan begins a one year sabbatical. Dr. Michael Wittgraf (UND Music) and Emily Cherry (Theatre Arts) serve as Co-Chairs during her absence.
2014      -Emily Cherry is named Chair of the Department of Theatre Arts      -Kip Taisey joins the Department as Department Musical Director	2015	2016
